浅間牧場に関しては…ですが、ジオパークだからというより普段入れない場所にガイド付なら入れるレア感で来られた方が多かったです。殆どの方は観光先を下調べしてた時に情報を見つけ、近くまで行くついでという感じでしたね。普通に入れる場所だとガイドは別に…が多いのではないかと@asamahokuroku04

【#牛臥】沼津の御用邸付近でちょっと寄り道。牛臥山公園があり、ここから沼津アルプス、達磨山、大瀬崎と見渡せます。明治の昔から、御用邸だけでなく、偉人たちが別荘を構える風光明媚な場所です。駿河湾の最奥部にも近く、ゆったりとした海辺です。http://twitpic.com/ea0n8h

【#牛臥】海岸には海底火山だった溶岩が崩れ、転がっています。実際には火山の形が侵食によって削られて、とんがった形で残っています。岩石の種類としては、流紋岩とのことなので、溶岩ドームの一部が残っているという方が近いかな。http://twitpic.com/ea0o0x

【#牛臥】ガスが抜けた後があるのは火山性の岩の特徴ですが、ここの岩には不思議と大きな穴があいています。これは、タフォニーと呼ばれるもののようで、塩の結晶が大きくなることで広げられたものだとか。http://twitpic.com/ea0ph1

【#牛臥】この山をつくる岩石は流紋岩。伊豆ジオパークを巡ってきた中では珍しく、粘り気の強いマグマからできている証拠。みなさんの記憶でいうと、#雲仙普賢岳 とか、#溶岩ドーム を作った火山と同じタイプの溶岩ということになります。http://twitpic.com/ea7abv
