May-Oct = Summer Hawaii’s “dry” season, showers are less frequent and often last only a few minutes. Average day-time temperatures can reach up to 29°C (84°F) and drop only slightly at night. August is the hottest month of the year. Trade winds occur about 90% of the time, they blow in from the northeast and make things feel more comfortable.
